Né en JAPON.
Takumi Nagayasu est né le 4 janvier 1949 à Nagasaki. Il se destine dès le plus jeune âge au dessin
après avoir découvert les albums de Tetsuya Chiba. En 1964, il part s'installer à Tokyo et devient
l'assistant de Kenji Nanba ; 4 ans plus tard il publie son premier album «Ofukuro». C'est en 1988 que
le projet de la légende de Mother Sarah se concrétise avec un voyage de repérages aux Etats-Unis
en compagnie de Otomo. Et en 89, Mother Sarah fait sa première apparition dans Shukan Young
Magazine, publié par Kodansha.
